Our story

The North Fork TV Festival celebrates the future of independent scripted television, gathering buyers and sellers in a global marketplace and providing a platform for emerging creators. Founded in 2015, The North Fork TV Festival is a year-round 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization.

An annual industry affair.

Held annually at the historic Greenport Theatre, in Greenport, New York, the North Fork TV Festival curates independent pilots, hosts industry discussions, and honors distinguished innovators among industry leaders, including our very own Co-Chairs Mark Armstrong, Partner at Sanders Armstrong Caserta; Haleigh Raff, Producer of NBC’s “Late Night with Seth Meyers”; Roy Ashton, Head of the TV Literary & Packaging Department at the Gersh Agency; and Christina Wayne, CEO of Assembly Entertainment.

Fostering opportunities in independent scripted television since 2015.

The North Fork TV Festival is where premieres turn into deals. Case in point: Up North, the gritty television drama that digs into the brutal reality of the New York prison system, made its global premiere at the festival. Byron Allen’s Entertainment Studios acquired the pilot in March 2019 for global distribution on its streaming services.
