The 2018 North Fork TV Festival is proud to partner with CAST as our featured Charity.

Since 1965, Community Action Southold Town, Inc. (CAST), a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, has been serving low-income individuals and families on the North Fork of Long Island. CAST helps struggling community members meet their basic needs of nutrition, clothing, energy, employment, and education. CAST provides a critical safety net for Southold Town residents in need from Laurel to Orient Point and Fisher’s Island. We are committed to moving vulnerable families to self-sufficiency through education and outreach. CAST offers many programs and services, including a food pantry, sharing room with clothing and household items, ESL and computer classes, an early childhood literacy program, assistance with benefit applications, fresh produce programs, advocacy and referrals, and much more.

Our most vulnerable neighbors are also some of our most invisible — struggling seniors, veterans, immigrants, single mothers, to name a few.  They are vital members of this beautiful destination community.

Our vision is to build a thriving community where every person is free from worry about basic necessities and is able to build a better future for themselves and their families.

CAST relies on the generosity of donors to support our neighbors in need.
