Producers Panel

The Northfork TV Producers Panel is part of an ongoing effort to demystify the production process. Festival goers will hear first person accounts of how one can succeed in a business that often seems to be lacking a center. No two success stories are the same and emerging artists will be informed and energized by the trials and experiences of accomplished writers, producers and showrunners. The casual viewer will enjoy the inside perspective on how compelling stories and memorable characters make it to our televisions, computer screens and smartphones.

Up North - Independent Pilot

In the New York prison system, it’s just as hard getting out as it is going in. An innocent teenager, an elder convict, and a vicious street hustler fight their way out of the corrupt prison system and dangerous city streets.

"From the Ashes" - Special Screening

From National Geographic Documentary Films, From the Ashes captures Americans in communities across the country as they wrestle with the legacy of the coal industry and what its future should be under the Trump Administration. From Appalachia to the West’s Powder River Basin, the film goes beyond the rhetoric of the “war on coal” to present compelling and often heartbreaking stories about what’s at stake for our economy, health, and climate. The film invites audiences to learn more about an industry on the edge and what it means for their lives.
